The History of Bowling

Did you know that people have always enjoyed some form of bowling? The first proto-bowling games are traced all the way to the ancient Egyptians, then on through the Roman Empire and later eras. Variations of the sport range from traditional ten-pin bowling to nine-pin bowling, candle pin bowling, duck pin bowling, and five-pin bowling. Additionally, two other forms of the game are also extremely popular to this day; these are lawn bowling and bocce, both of which are still played today. Our bowling alley features ten-pin bowling, and to make it even more fun for the little tykes, we have bowling games that will keep their attention.

Bowling Is Inclusive

Unlike some sports or games, bowling is inclusive, so no one feels left out. It is a game that can be played with a mixed group of all sizes, ages, and skill levels. Bowling is more than a sport. It is part of the social glue that bonds people together. Our neighborhood bowling center is the social hub of choice for Sublette, KS and the Haskell County area, whether it’s a birthday party, a corporate event, a school or church group.
