Bowling Tournament Rules

Use highest average of:

(a) Current average of 21 or more games as of 1-12-19,

(b) 2017-2018 Book Average,

(c) Bowl Scratch

Handicap is 100% of 200. Handicap will be multiplied by 4.

Main Prize fees will be returned 100% in Prizes. Payoff will be 1 prize for each 4 entries.

In the 40th frame, if you do not Bingo (1sT ball strike), you will not Bango or Bongo, but will finish out the frame.

The special prize fund goes to pay out Paydays and Bingo, Bango, Bongo and any left over carries over to the BIG WHAMMY.

A bowler rolling the last 6 strikes (frames 37-39 and 3 strikes in the 40th) breaks the BIG WHAMMY pot. If the Big Whammy Pot is not won, the money will carry over to the next tournament. Multiple bowlers breaking BIG WHAMMY will share the pot. This is an open division (men & women together) tournament. See Rule 9 for other options.

Bowlers will certify the scores at the completion of the game by signing the score sheet. Scoring will be kept manually.

Optional Scratch Event: $10 Entry Fee

Highest score with additions and deductions without handicap. 1 in 3 payout.

Optional Ladies Division $10 entry. Highest score with additions and deductions and handicap. 1 in 3 payout.

Any member of PBA, past PWBA, and any other bowler who is determined to be “professional” will not be permitted to enter.

Entry deadline is January 19th. Entries afterward will be assessed a $5 administrative fee, so call to reserve your spot and avoid this fee.

Check-in begins at 12pm. Tournament begins at 1:30 pm
